The Golden Globes are this Sunday, and what better way to celebrate than a trip down memory lane, rounding up some of the most iconic looks in recent Globes history.
So many looks over the last decade—but how could we possibly pick just ten? Don’t worry, I did the research, judged every shoe, and clocked every hemline, and now I’m ready to spill! These red-carpet looks stunned, shocked, and are totally living rent-free in my head.

Randolph could not have looked more stunning for her first Golden Globe win! The perfectly placed peplum and custom tailoring take this look over the edge in the best way. I always say, “Dress for the evening you want,” and—just like Randolph—this dress is an absolute winner. And can we appreciate that perfectly matched lip and gown? Iconic!
2. Lady Gaga in Valentino, 2019

Most people couldn’t pull off blue hair, a periwinkle ball gown, or five million dollars’ worth of Tiffany & Co. diamonds. Luckily, Gaga is not most people. Her haute couture Valentino gown pays tribute to the dress Judy Garland wore in the original A Star Is Born. “But how do we give it a Gaga twist?” I can practically hear her stylist wondering. Then—bam—blue hair. The unexpected color turns classic Hollywood glamour into something fearless, fun, and totally on-brand, and it’s gone down as one of her most iconic looks to date.
3. Zendaya in Louis Vuitton, 2025

Nothing is harder than choosing between Zendaya’s red carpet looks. From Armani to Louis Vuitton to archival Mugler, Law Roach has truly earned his title as image architect. But this Golden Globes moment—an homage to Joyce Bryant—stopped the carpet in its tracks. The silhouette suits her perfectly, the tribute feels meaningful, and the jewelry deserves your attention. And no, I don’t mean the countless carats of Bvlgari on her neck. Whether the five-carat diamond ring was used for an official engagement announcement remains unknown, but the glamour is indisputable.
4. Rachel Brosnahan in Vivienne Westwood, 2025

Rachel Brosnahan has had one of the most under-the-radar fashion renaissances of the last decade, period. Known for her work in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and, recently, Lois Lane in Superman, she’s quietly hit major style peaks in the last two years. This perfectly fitted Westwood gown—with a flawless slit and an emerald necklace—does wonders for her skin tone, red hair, and, honestly, everything else.
5. Hunter Schafer in Prada, 2024

Talk about a showstopper! Created in another iconic collaboration with stylist Law Roach, this custom Prada gown was paired with perfectly dramatic winds that night. Schafer—who presented at the 80th Golden Globes—looked radiant as she floated ethereally onto the stage. The Euphoria actress is sure to keep delivering major fashion moments, especially once Euphoria returns in April.
6. Timothée Chalamet in Louis Vuitton, 2019

The first—and only—man on this list, Timothée Chalamet, earns his spot for both style and longevity. It’s rare that a man’s red carpet look leaves us shook and confused at the same time, but this bedazzled Louis Vuitton harness did exactly that. Ask anyone to name a Timothée moment, and this is probably the one they’ll picture. Plus, the signature Chalamet hair (God, I miss it).
7. Emma Stone in Valentino, 2017

Not the first Valentino gown on this list! Emma Stone’s star-studded dress feels both totally timeless and like a subtle nod to her character in La La Land, the role that earned her a Golden Globe win. A true queen of understated elegance, this look radiates classic Hollywood ingenue vibes, glittering in the most glamorous, starlit way.
8. Hailee Steinfeld in Prada, 2024

As interesting from the back as it was from the front, Hailee Steinfeld made an unforgettable return to the Golden Globes in 2024 in a custom Prada gown. Newly engaged and brilliantly styled, Steinfeld brought fresh energy to modern Hollywood glamour with a sleek column dress featuring diamonds built right into the neckline. Paired with a chic updo and sensible opera-length gloves, she looked confident, polished, and totally unstoppable!
9. Cate Blanchett in Upcycled Louis Vuitton, 2025

My personal red-carpet queen, Cate Blanchett, can do absolutely no wrong. This stunning gown is a rewear straight from her own archive—and somehow she looks even better in it now than she did the year prior at the Cannes Film Festival. The waist is perfectly cinched, her hair is flawless, and, as always, the earring stack speaks for itself. Effortless, elegant, and totally iconic.
10. Jenna Ortega in Gucci, 2023

Easily one of the most iconic Golden Globes looks of the last decade, Jenna Ortega continually proves she’s a fashion force to be reckoned with. This stunning Gucci ensemble delivers all the whimsy, glamour, and sex appeal the Wednesday actress is known for—just without the signature darkness. After a sea of moody promotional outfits, Jenna perfectly timed this bright, beautifully crafted moment. Not only was the look expertly designed, but it was also the ultimate way to break free and soar.
